SCOTS Bids Farewell to 2021 — Welcomes 2022

Dear Partners,

2021 has been another tough year for us at Scots English College (SCOTS) and for you too. Despite the enormous challenges, we’re still here; SCOTS has never paused or hibernated. We never give up on our students and never will. Through sheer innovation and resilience, we have endured and even evolved. As we bid farewell to 2021 and prepare to welcome a new year with optimism, we take a moment to share with you our best achievements this year:

CRICOS registration renewed for 7 years

ASQA Audit and ComplianceFollowing an ASQA audit early 2021, SCOTS was deemed fully compliant with the ESOS Act, National Code 2018 and ELICOS National Standards. As a result, SCOTS’ CRICOS registration was renewed for another 7 years. That proves the college’s unwavering commitment to high-quality English education to international students.

Application for membership with English Australia

English AustraliaSCOTS was welcomed as the newest member of English Australia — the voice of the ELICOS sector in Australia. That shows SCOTS’ dedication to contributing to the recovery efforts being made and working closely with other members on navigating current and future challenges.

Application for Innovation Grant Successful

Innovation GrantSCOTS was among the successful recipients of the government’s Innovation Grant 2021. As a result, a team consisting of teachers, e-learning designers, software developers, videographers and marketers was assembled to collaborate over the development of an online learning and teaching platform which will be made available ONLY to SCOTS students for FREE in 2022.

Learnuity — SCOTS’ New Online Learning & Teaching Platform — underway

Efforts to finish work on the platform are underway and launch is anticipated in June 2022. SCOTS students will enjoy FREE access to Learnuity when enrolling in any SCOTS’ English course in 2022 ONLY.
