Overview
English for Childcare Workers (1-Week Intensive Course)
Who is the course for?
This course is designed for childcare workers, early childhood educators, and students preparing for a career in the childcare sector who use English as an additional language. It is also ideal for international students currently studying childcare qualifications in Australia who wish to strengthen their English for the workplace. Why does it matter?
Clear, confident communication is at the heart of working in childcare. Every day, educators interact with children, parents, and colleagues in a variety of situations — from welcoming families in the morning, to explaining safety rules, to leading songs and story time. Misunderstandings can affect not only the quality of care but also trust and professional relationships. This course helps participants build the language skills and confidence they need to perform their roles effectively, safely, and with greater professional impact.Learning outcomes
