Tell-A-Pal (Friends Referral) Campaign FAQs


1. What is the “Tell-A-Pal (Friends Referral) Campaign” Promotion?

The “Tell-A-Pal (Friends Referral) Campaign” Promotion is a new exciting referral program for you, our current SCOTS students, to share your study experiences first hand with your family, friends and professional networks. We uphold a strong sense of belief in building a global community by valuing and sharing your learning experiences (both online and offline). We thank you for participating in our Tell-A-Pal Campaign. Please read out T&Cs before entering and good luck!

The Referral Promotion allows you, SCOTS students, to refer your friends (Referrals) and then receive a reward as a Thank-you Gift*.

2. What are the rewards on offer?

Rewards Details

There are a number of rewards on offer:

#1 Reward
Reward is a monetary value of AU$50 (in form of a gift card) granted to the Referrer. The Referrer receives a one-off reward when the referral has resulted in a minimum of a 5-week enrolment by referrer.

#2 Reward
Reward is a monetary value of AU$100 (in form of a gift card) granted to the Referrer. The Referrer receives a one-off reward when the referral has resulted in a minimum of a 10-week enrolment by referrer.

#3 Reward
Reward is a monetary value of AU$150 (in form of a gift card) granted to the Referrer. The Referrer receives a one-off reward when the referral has resulted in a minimum of a 20-week enrolment by referrer.

#4 Reward
Reward is a monetary value of AU$200 (in form of a gift card) granted to the Referrer. The Referrer receives a one-off reward when the referral has resulted in a minimum of a 30-week enrolment by referrer.

3. Who is the Referrer?

You, or the “Referrer”, can either be a SCOTS current student or alumni.

Referrers can be anyone who is enrolled or was enrolled at SCOTS.

4. Who is the Referral?

The candidate you, as the “Referrer”, wish to refer to SCOTS. The “Referral” must be a NEW student applying for an English learning program at SCOTS.

5. I’m a SCOTS alumnus, can I still participate as the Referrer? How do I receive the reward?

Absolutely! Please keep your Student ID number handy with you when you fill out the form. If you’re having issues remembering your Student ID, please contact us directly at info@scotsenglish.edu.au. If your referral has been successful, you will receive the rewards via gift card only.

6. How do I refer a friend?

Simply refer your friend/s via our form here.

7. When is this program valid until?

The Referral Plan will be valid from 18th September till 30th April 2021 only.

8. What conditions must my friend/s and I meet to earn the reward?

9. How will I receive my reward?

Referrers (SCOTS students or SCOTS Alumni)

You will receive your rewards via gift cards. You will be contacted by our staff to which you will need to pick up at our Reception Office in South Eveleigh or via e-gift card sent to your email with no extra costs.

10. Is there a limit to the number of people I can refer? Is there a limit to the number of rewards I can earn?

Referrers (SCOTS students or SCOTS alumni)

You can refer as many people as you like! The more successful referrals you have, the more you will be rewarded.

Referrals

Each referral could only be referred by one referrer. If multiple referrers exist, SCOTS will contact the referral to confirm the veracity of the claim as soon as it receives the referral form to avoid conflicts; SCOTS will deem the first referrer as the one eligible for the reward.

11. How do I track the referral status?

As we anticipate a high influx of referrals through our registration form, you will receive a copy of your registration when you complete the form. Please keep this in a safe place.
